Christmas, the things im doing

During Christmas I'm probably going to eat waffles and sleep. I'm going to watch TV, play video games, etc. I'll just lay in my room and listen to my radio. I listen to almost any music except opera and country. Country just sounds bad. There is only one country song I like and that is Sweet Home Alabama. I listen to my radio. My favorite stations are 9.03, 93.3 and 103.7. But my favorite station is Rock 105.3! You should listen to it if you like rock music.

Christmas

Christmas is coming! I'm happy that we get school off. The first thing I'm going to do is........ I don't know. But what sucks is that I have to study for finals. Finals are dumb. I don't get why we have to take them. We already learned everything and took a test on it, now we have to take a huge test on everything. That is the only thing that will ruin my Christmas. But I get lots of presents and money $$$$. So then I can spend all my money food and other stuff that is yummy! I  can't wait until school is out.

So I hope to have fun during Christmas. Well, I know I will. I already got my Christmas tree. My favorite part is walking around my neighborhood looking at other Christmas lights. In my neighborhood, they give out signs to the top 5 best Christmas decorators, and stick the sign on their front lawn. My family never wins because we suck at decorating. So I will try my hardest at putting up lights on my house. That is if I don't watch my TV all day. I hope TV will play some good shows. One of my favorite shows is Uncle Grandpa, with Pizza Steve

My thanksgiving break in a nutshell

So over the Thanksgiving break I went on a cruise. When i was on my cruise, I ate waffles. We went to Mexico and i had a funnel cake there. I also ate tons of other food. They had a 24 hour pizza and ice-cream. When Thanksgiving came I ate a waffle for breakfast,  a turkey sandwich for lunch, and turkey for dinner. The food was amazing and very delicious. We went snorkeling and ziplining and much more.

The buffet made special waffles and pancakes for you. I one time got a chocolate chip waffle. Another time I got a blueberry waffle. They had ice cream and got some almost everyday. They had an indoor basketball court and mini-golf. They had room service and you could order waffles and pancakes. Overall it was very fun and I wish to go again. The waffles made the cruise 3,000 times better!

How to make Waffles

How to make Waffles

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Yield: Makes 4 to 5 waffles

Ingredients:

  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1¾ cups whole milk
  • ½ cup vegtable oil
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Pre-heat your waffle iron to its hottest setting. Placing a cookie-sheet under it can help catch any batter drippage during cooking.

  2. Pre-heat oven to 200°F.

  3. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

  4. Beat eggs thoroughly. Whisk in sugar, milk and oil.

  5. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and mix gently until combined. Don't overmix!

  6. Spray both surfaces of your waffle iron with cooking spray.

  7. Ladle 4 to 6 oz (½ to ¾ cup) batter on the iron and close it. It's not unusual for a bit of batter to seep out of the edges of the iron. If there's excessive leakage, use less batter for the next waffle.

  8. Cook until the waffle iron's indicator light shows that cooking is complete, or until no more steam comes out. The finished waffle should be golden brown and crispy.

  9. Lift the waffle out of the iron with a pair of tongs and either serve right away or transfer it to the oven to keep warm.

The Waffle

My blog is about waffles and how delicious they are. A Waffle is a thing that you eat and you can put syrup, butter, and jelly on it. Waffles you cook in a waffle iron or you can buy them frozen and toast them. Here's a picture of waffles.http://www.helloglutenfree.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/GF-Belgian-Waffles-2.jpg Waffles are made from batter that you buy in the store. You could also look up how to make waffles by scratch on the internet, or if you already have a recipe. you can put topping on the Waffle, like ice cream, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream. Waffles are the best food on the planet (pancakes are the second best, the squares in the waffles define them) Waffles from Belgium are the best.
